Travel Alert:  9/6/26

Schedule 13 traveling between Athens and Cleveland is delayed by up to an hour due to an accident near New Philadelphia.  For passengers waiting at the Canton and Akron stop locations, please remain at the stop.   Thank you!

 

 

9/14: SCHEDULE CHANGES COMING TO THE BLUE, ORANGE, & GRAY LINES

‼️Effective September 14, 2026‼️

Schedule changes are coming to the Orange Line, Blue Line, and the Gray Line. All changes are listed below. The new schedules are linked at the bottom. Our Schedules page will be updated on September 14.

Orange Line (Cincinnati//Athens):
▪️The GoBus stops at Peebles and Piketon will be REMOVED, and Jackson will become a regularly-serviced stop (rather than on-call, as it was previously).
▪️Sch 56 (AM Eastbound) departs EARLIER from each location than previously scheduled.
▪️Sch 58 (PM Eastbound) departs slightly LATER from Seaman, Jackson, and the Athens OU stops ONLY.
▪️Sch 57 (AM Westbound) departs slightly EARLIER from each stop on the way to Cincinnati.
▪️Sch 59 (PM Westbound) departs slightly LATER from each stop, except from Seaman and Batavia.

Blue Line (Cleveland//Athens):
▪️GoBus has a new stop at the Cedar-University GCRTA Station at 11150 Cedar Glen Pkwy!
▪️Sch 12 (Southbound) departs slightly EARLIER from each stop location. Marietta and Athens Community Center have been REMOVED from this schedule, and the new Cleveland Cedar-University Station stop has been added.
▪️Sch 13 (Northbound) departs LATER than previously scheduled. Athens Community Center and Marietta have been REMOVED from this schedule, and Cedar-University Station in Cleveland has been added.

Gray Line (Toledo//Ashtabula):
▪️Cedar-University Station in Cleveland has been added to both Schedule 66 and 67.
▪️Sch 66 (Eastbound) timing for Painesville departure and Ashtabula arrival is now LATER than previously scheduled.
▪️Sch 67 (Westbound) departs from Ashtabula and Painesville EARLIER than previously scheduled. All other departure times on the way toward Toledo are unchanged.

PINK LINE: SCHEDULE CHANGES OCCURRED 7/27/26

Please note the following schedule changes along the Pink Line, effective Monday, July 27:

✅Schedule 11 (Wooster//Columbus) departs each stop 5 minutes LATER than previously scheduled.

✅Schedule 60 (Columbus//Akron) arrives in Akron 10 minutes LATER than previously scheduled.

✅Schedule 61 (Akron//Columbus) departs from Akron 5 minutes EARLIER than previously scheduled.

See the changes highlighted in yellow here. The Schedules page on ridegobus.com/routes will be updated ahead of Monday, when the changes go into effect. All GoBus e-ticket information will be updated automatically. As always, please review your e-ticket thoroughly before your trip and arrive at your bus stop ahead of the scheduled departure time. New GoBus Routes Launched on March 2, 2026

 

The GoBus expansion launched on Monday, March 2!
Four new routes were added, with schedules from Toledo to Cincinnati, Toledo to Columbus, Toledo to Ashtabula, and Columbus to Pittsburgh. Specific stop locations and schedule information for all 9 GoBus routes are detailed in the Schedule PDFs on our Routes page at ridegobus.com/routes.
GoBus routes are being rebranded!
     Route A (COL//Athens) is now the Green Line
     Route B (CIN//Athens) is now the Orange Line
     Route C (CLE//Athens) is now the Blue Line
     Route D (COL//Wooster//Akron) is now the Pink Line
     Route E (Van Wert//COL) is now the Lime Line
     TOL-CIN is the Red Line
     TOL-COL is the Purple Line
     TOL-ASH is the Gray Line
     COL-PITTS is the Yellow Line

EFFECTIVE 5/16/25: GOBUS REMOVED COLUMBUS OSU STOP ON ALL SCHEDULES

Effective Friday, May 16, the bus stop at OSU was removed from all GoBus schedules.
The applicable schedules include Schedules 53 & 54 (Route A) and Schedules 60 & 61 (Route D). The GoBus stop on E Mound St near downtown Columbus was added to each of these schedules as a replacement stop.
Pick-up/drop-off times for each of these schedules remain largely unchanged. Please refer to the updated schedules AT ridegobus.com/routes.

TRANSPORTING CHILDREN POLICY CHANGE EFFECTIVE 11/1/2023

In order to align with the travel policies of our regional and national partners, GoBus is changing our Transporting Children Policy.
Beginning November 1st, 2023, GoBus will no longer transport Unaccompanied Minors.  Instead, to ride Gobus:
 
ANY PASSENGER UNDER THE AGE OF 16 YEARS OLD MUST BE ACCOMPANIED, ON THE SAME BUS, BY A PARENT, LEGAL GUARDIAN,
OR OTHER PASSENGER AT LEAST 16 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AT ALL TIMES.
 
If you are under the age of 16, or if your child is under the age of 16, and have a ticket to travel on or after November 1st, 2023, please contact us immediately to make the necessary changes to the trip, or to request a refund.
