Schedule 58 Daily Delay up to 30 Minutes

Schedule 58 traveling from Cincinnati to Athens may be delayed by up to 30 minutes, indefinitely, due to the Nov. 1 fire on the Daniel Carter Beard bridge and subsequent southbound lanes closure on I-471.  Please adjust your plans accordingly and arrive at your stop location ahead of the normal departure time, as this delay is only an estimate and may not reflect the actual bus stop timing.

Extra schedules added for December 1st ONLY (Sunday after Thanksgiving) from Columbus/Cincinnati/Cleveland, to Athens.

These temporary schedules will be express routes with limited stops.

Schedule 36 (Columbus to Athens):
Departs from Columbus Greyhound at 8:30 PM
Departs from Columbus Airport at 8:55 PM
Arrives at Athens OU at 10:15 PM

Schedule 37 (Cincinnati to Athens):
Departs from Arlington Heights at 8:40 PM
Departs from UC at 9:05 PM
Departs from Batavia at 9:45 PM
Arrives at Athens OU at 11:55 PM

Schedule 38 (Cleveland to Athens):
Departs from Cleveland Greyhound at 5:40 PM
Departs from Akron at 6:30 PM
Departs from Canton at 7:10 PM
Arrives at Athens OU at 9:40 PM

VERY IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT OUR BUS LOGOS/ BRANDING

Your GoBus vehicle may be branded with Barons Bus logos, or you may be boarding a plain white 56-passenger bus. We are working on getting GoBus signage on all the vehicles that travel the GoBus routes, but we aren’t quite there yet!

TRANSPORTING CHILDREN POLICY CHANGE EFFECTIVE 11/1/2023

In order to align with the travel policies of our regional and national partners, GoBus is changing our Transporting Children Policy.
Beginning November 1st, 2023, GoBus will no longer transport Unaccompanied Minors.  Instead, to ride Gobus:
 
ANY PASSENGER UNDER THE AGE OF 16 YEARS OLD MUST BE ACCOMPANIED, ON THE SAME BUS, BY A PARENT, LEGAL GUARDIAN,
OR OTHER PASSENGER AT LEAST 16 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AT ALL TIMES.
 
If you are under the age of 16, or if your child is under the age of 16, and have a ticket to travel on or after November 1st, 2023, please contact us immediately to make the necessary changes to the trip, or to request a refund.
